Hammer are making a follow-up to this year's film adaptation of Hill's famed 1983 Victorian gothic horror novel (and later long-running stage play) "The Woman in Black" . Having scene the stage play and the film, i am hoping they don't make a sequel despite harry Potter's attempts going down well with me.
Must say am also looking forward to "Copper" which will be made i am glad to hear by BBC America! Is a crime procedural set in 1860's New York. (i guess Murdoch mysteries meets Spooks maybe??) Should be good, and i predict a big hit already. Tom Weston-Jones plays an Irish-American cop working to maintain order and a sense of righteousness.
Is it me or would someone else really like an Alan Quatermain film ? surely....Lets hope the Jungian collective provides - or someone buys my script. (Think of it as a Sherlock Holmes spin off if you have to?!)
