SUNDAY SUNDAY (lazy news and trailer!)

Here is an interesting post for a Sunday, usually a lovely day of rest for me and my friends, but a quick one and cheers for helping me to raise the PR for the blog as well as those that have used the shop! Love you crazy kids, (think that’s the catchphrase these days.)

Interesting email box this morning with a few points and we will finish with a trailer of course!

Firstly interesting blog has popped up called Ghostspy which some of the bigger sci-fi pundit sites have mentioned. It is either a amazingly produced spoof or viral or undercover footage that might or might not be from a new Ghostbusters film! Judge for yourself of course, and go to wordpress and type ghost spy, sure you will find it!

Spiderman 4 looks sets to feature the villain Morbius, a genetically created vampire! (would fit in with current cinema trends as well. And Raimi loves the vibe) that would be a top notch role for upcoming early thirty something to play, and the character should give some good on screen fighting antics! Hoping for a lizard man to appear, but Sony always look for the three film arc so multiples might appear if there plans to shoot movies back to back goes ahead.

It looks as if Watchmen problems have been settled and because of this March 16th is a short wait for the film that looks to be the hero film of the year, (waiting wolverine with hope though.)

Slow day today, but of course more to hit the stands tomorrow - now leaving to cook Sunday luncheon!

Newman

Oh here’s a lovely trailer for you, and one to watch out for called Redbelt (starring the man who allegedly turned down Doctor Who - Chitwetal Ejiodor - fellow East Londoner and actor supreme!). Its been released here and there, but do try to watch it...

  3. A Raimi directed Morbius could be great- I'm sure he'll bring a Hammer Films sensibility to the character (and hopefully shy away from the Underworld-style dark horror that crapped up Spider Man 3).

I saw a scene from Raimi's latest film Drag Me To Hell a while back (it's been yanked offline since) and it looks AWESOME.
